Lori Maphies ~ Primitive Fine Folk Art

Lori is a Primitive Americana Folk Artist. She uses acrylic paints and loves to paint Snowmen, Americana and Country settings. She likes the aged look so she often stains the fabric that she paints on.

Being from the Midwest she finds the beauty in old things and strives to achieve a primitive feeling in her art.

Lori's line of Country T-Shirts and Sweatshirts, F.L.Y. Wear, have been sold in country shops since 1995. In 2001 she signed on with Penny Lane Publishing. Along with publishing her prints, Penny Lane licenses her work to many companies. Lori's art can be seen on pillows, afghans, rugs, coasters, trivets, cards and more!
