When she was young, the Ohio artist enrolled in every type of art class she could find. In 1986, she received a scholarship to the Columbus College of Art and Design, where she studied design and illustration for five years. In 1991, she received her bachelor’s degree in fine arts. She worked as a corporate art director and then moved into her current position as a freelance and portrait artist. Most of her artwork reflects her love for animals, nature, and crafts.
